<image:title>Fasting in Shawwal - FASTING SIX DAYS OF SHAWWAL</image:title>
<image:caption>Hazrat Abu Ayub (May Allah have mercy on him) stated that the Holy Prophet ﷺ said "One who fasts throughout the month of Ramadhan, followed by fasting six days of Shawwal, is as good as if he fasted throughout the year." (Sahih Muslim, 1163). The majority scholarly opinion is that these fasts do not have to be one after another, but they can be done on different days in the month of Shawwal. We encourage everyone to fast these six days if it is possible, InshaAllah.

<image:caption>Hazrat Ali (Radhy Allahu Anhu) said: I visited Rasūlullāh ﷺ with Hazrat Ja`far (ibn Abi Talib) and Hazrat Zayd (ibn Haritha) Radhy Allahu Anhum. Rasūlullāh ﷺ said to Hazrat Zayd (Radhy Allahu Anhu) “You are my freedman” so Hazrat Zayd (Radhy Allahu Anhu) began to hop on one leg around Rasūlullāh ﷺ. Rasūlullāh ﷺ then said to Hazrat Ja`far (Radhy Allahu Anhu): “You resemble me in my creation and my manners” so Hazrat Ja`far (Radhy Allahu Anhu) began to hop behind Hazrat Zayd (Radhy Allahu Anhu). Rasūlullāh ﷺ then said to Hazrat Ali (Radhy Allahu Anhu): “You are from me and I am from you” so Hazrat Ali (Radhy Allahu Anhu) began to hop behind Hazrat Ja`far (Radhy Allah Anhu). [Ahmad, Musnad 1:108 (#860).] The great Islamic scholar, Imam al Hafidh al Bayhaqi (Raḥimahullāh) in explanation of this hadith said that this Sahîh Hadith has proof and permissibility of hopping or jumping in a state of joy or another action similar to it. <image:caption>“And do not consider those who are killed in Allah’s way to be dead. No, they are alive with their Lord and provided for. (Al-Imran 3:169) Imam Hussain Radhy Allahu Anhu had the choice to give bayyah to Yazid and live temporarily, or stand up for the truth and die as a martyr. He chose the truth as he is the grandson of our beloved Prophet ‎ﷺ. But who really died and who lived? We know very little about the people who killed Imam Hussain Radhy Allahu Anhu. They are suffering in their graves and will be raised to an even more terrible punishment on the Day of Judgement. They are dead. But Imam Hussain Radhy Allahu Anhu is alive and he lives forever. He is loved and remembered by all Muslims until the end of time. He set an example for all Muslims to be brave and and be truthful even when it is not popular. He truly followed the example of his grandfather, Sayyiduna Rasūlullāh ﷺ and he will be one of the leaders of the youth in paradise. <image:title>Reciting Durood</image:title>
<image:caption>IMPORTANCE OF RECITING DUROOD Hazrat Aws ibn Aws (Radhy Allahu Anhu) reported that Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: “The best of your days is Friday (Jumu’ah). On this day Adam was created and on this day he died, on this day the Trumpet will be blown and on this day all of creation will swoon. So send a lot of blessings upon me, for your blessings will be shown to me.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, how will our blessings upon you be shown to you when you have turned to dust?” He ﷺ said, “Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets, peace be upon them.” [Narrated by Abu Dawood, 1047] Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu (May Allah sanctify his secret) advised his disciples (mureeds) to recite lots of durood (salawaat) on our beloved Prophet ﷺ. Shaykh Khushhal QSA himself would recite 10,000 durood (salawaat) daily and would present the entire count as a gift to Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ, which he performed daily for over 50 years. Since we are blessed to have reached Friday (Jum’ah) in the blessed month of Rabi al-Awwal, we should do our best to recite the most durood (salawaat) as possible for the love of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la and his Habib ﷺ. O’Lord strengthen me with patience and perseverance, and never let my hands slip from my connection to Hazrat Khushhal QSA Sabr o Istiqlal Se Hum Sab Ko Thu Mazbooth Rakh, Ya Ilahi Haath Se Choote Na Damaan E Khushhal</image:caption>

      <image:title>Reciting Durood - DUROOD TANJEENA</image:title>
<image:caption>The story begins with the great aashiq-e-Rasul Shaykh Musa al-Darir (QSA) who was sailing on a ship in the ocean with a group of people. Suddenly, a very powerful storm known at that time as al-Iqlabiyya appeared which was known to destroy ships and drown everyone. All the people on the ship began panicking and started screaming in fear of drowning to death. Shaykh Musa al-Darir (QSA) had so much trust in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala that he went to sleep knowing that everything was already predestined. In his dream, he saw the Prophet ﷺ‎‬ who told him “Tell all the people in the ship to say the following 1,000 times.” اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلاَةً تُنْجِينَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْأَهْوَالِ وَالْآفَاتِ ❁ وَتَقْضِى لَنَا بِهَا جَمِيعَ الْحَاجَاتِ ❁ وَتُطَهِّرُنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ السَّيِّئَاتِ❁ وَتَرْفَعُنَا بِهَا عِنْدَكَ أَعْلَى الدَّرَجَاتِ ❁ وَتُبَلِّغُنَا بِهَا أَقْصَى الْغَايَاتِ ❁ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْخَيْرَاتِ ❁ فِى الْحَيَاةِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَمَاتِ Allahumma ṣalli ʿala Sayyidinā Muḥammadin ṣalātan tunjīnā bihā min jamīʿi l-ahwāli wa l-āfāt, wa taqḍī lanā bihā min jamīʿi l-ḥājāt, wa tuṭahhirunā bihā min jamīʿi s-sayyi'āt, wa tarfaʿunā bihā ʿindaka āʿlā d-darajāt, wa tuballighunā bihā aqṣā l-ghāyāt, min jamīʿi l-khayrāt, fī l-ḥayāti wa baʿda l-mamāt O’Allah bless our Master, Muhammad with such a blessing that it will remove us from all our trials and tribulations, fulfill for us every need, purify us from every sin, raise us to high spiritual stations and allow us to reach the highest limit in all matters of goodness in this life and the next When Shaykh Musa al-Darir (QSA) woke up, he quickly told all the passengers about his dream. The people immediately gathered together and began reciting the Salawaat. By the time, they had recited it 300 times, the storm calmed down and went away by the blessings of prayers upon our Prophet ﷺ‎‬. This Salawaat (Durood) is recited all over the world, and is known to be very powerful. The shuyukh have recommended that it be recited 1,000 times during times of difficulty for relief. This Durood also appears in the third chapter of the famous Dala’il Khayrat by Imam al-Jazuli. <image:caption>Our beloved grand shaykh (Dada Huzoor) Hazrat Mohammad Hasan Shah (Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu) (QSA) (May Allah sanctify his secret) emphasized and was very strict about the punctuality of the five times daily prayers (Salah) and the optional and mandatory fasting (Sawm). He would not allow his disciples (mureeds) to eat food without having first offered their prayers (Salah). He would advise that the outward (zahir) cleanliness (taharat) and worship (ibadat) has to first be established. Then with the favor (karam) of the spiritual guide (Murshid), the secrets of the spiritual path to realization (tareeqat), the truth of our being (haqeeqat) and knowledge of Allah (ma’rifat) will itself come in front of you. The obedience of the spiritual guide (Murshid) is the first condition. It is no coincidence that (Sultan ul Awliya) Hazrat Khawaja Mohammad Hasan Shah QSA produced some of the biggest awliya of recent times. He was at such a high level that it has been said that he was the mujaddid (renewer) of murshids (spiritual guides). And whoever took bayyat (pledged allegiance) with him, became one of the men of the time. But for some reason, I could not even enjoy my wird (wazifa) as I used to all the time so I tried to sleep again, but I could not even sleep. So I went outside my home where I saw a man lying near the road wrapped in cloak (chaddar). When this man saw me, he shouted “O’ Abul Qasim! What took you so long?” I said “O sir! Did we have an appointment?” The man said “Yes! I asked Allah who moves all hearts, to move your heart towards me, so Allāh did this for me.” I asked the man “How can I help you sir?” The man said “I have a question for you. When does the heart’s illness become its cure?” I replied “When the soul’s instinct is for good rather than sin and evil.” The man then looked at his own soul and said “Listen! I gave you this same answer seven times, but you don’t want to hear it from anyone other than al-Junaid! Now finally you have heard it from him!” The man then got up off the ground and left.” Silsila E Aaliya, Khushhaliya.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The world famous Darbar Mirzakhil Sharif in Bangladesh is of extreme importance for our spiritual lineage as it holds the tombs of the great saints, Hazrat Shah Jahangir (I) Mawlana Mukhlisur Rahman (QSA), Hazrat Shah Jahangir (II) Fakhrul Arefin Abdul Hai (QSA) and Hazrat Shah Jahangir (III) Shamsul Arefin Mawlana Mohammad Maksusur Rahman (QSA). All our shuyukh, Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Hasan Shah (QSA), Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Inayath Hasan Shah (QSA) and Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Nabi Raza Shah (QSA) have all presented themselves at Darbar Mirzakhil Shareef for blessings. Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah (QSA) also had great love and respect for our shuyukh in Bangladesh. He would narrate their lives to mureeds from the book, Seerat-e Fakhrul Arifeen, and would relate quotes directly from Hazrat Mawlana Abdul Hai (QSA). He visited Darbar Mirzakhil and presented Hazrat Shah Jahangir (IV) Tajul Arefin Mawlana Areful Hai with beautiful garlands that is still remembered at the Darbar Mirzakhil Sharif. Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah (QSA) was amazed at the love, manners, respect and aura of the Darbar. He would tell his mureeds about how silence is religiously observed at Darbar Mirzakhil. He spoke about how he stayed at Hindustani Hut and the great hospitality shown in the Khanqah for the visiting people. He often spoke about how Hazrat Shah Jahangir (IV) Mawlana Areful Hai (QSA) resembled his forefathers along with his extreme humility and hospitality. The great grand shaykh of our silsila, Hazrat Shah Sayyid Imdad Ali (QSA) gave this title “Shah Jahangir” to his disciple (mureed) Hazrat Mukhlisur Rahman Jahangir (QSA). The love and affection shared between Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah(QSA) and Hazrat Mawlana Areful Hai (QSA) continues to this day through their successors. His Holiness Hazrat Shah Jahangir (V) Dr. Maksudur Rahman who is the Nayeb-e-Sajjadah Nashin (Successor) of Silsila-e-Aaliya, Jahangiriah, Darbar Mirzakhil Sharif has produced excellent works to spread the teachings of Islam and promotes humanitarian work. The same love and affection is also shared between Hazrat Sufi Jawwad Ahmed Khushhali and Mohammad Masudur Rahman (Sarfaraz Mia) who coordinates with all the Jahangiri branches and is engaged in great charity work. Hazrat Sufi Jawwad Ahmed Khushhali (The only custodian, First successor and the Current Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar E khushhaliya) makes it a point to attend Jashne-e-Jahangiri in New Delhi, India to meet and pay high respects to Hazrat Shah Jahangir (IV) Mawlana Areful Hai and Hazrat Shah Jahangir (V) Dr. Maksudur Rahman. Hazrat Sufi Jawwad Ahmed Khushhali has followed the teachings of our Mashaikhs from a tender age. He manages Darbar E Khushhaliya and takes care of all the khanqah affairs with great hospitality for visitors similar to how Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah (QSA) did during his lifetime. He conducts spiritual gatherings in various parts of India as a part of the expansion of Silsila-e- Khushhaliya. <image:title>Shaykh Data Ganj Baksh - SHAYKH DATA GANJ BAKSH HAJVERI</image:title>
<image:caption>Sultan ul-Hind Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA famously visited the maqam of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh Hajveri QSA before proceeding to Ajmer, India. Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA stayed in a small secluded room for worship for 40 days, while some historians say six months to complete his chillah (spiritual seclusion). He received unimaginable spiritual secrets and blessings from Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh Hajveri QSA. After completing his meditation, Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA recited the famous couplet while in a trance: “Ganj Baksh-e faiz-e aalam mazhar-e nur-e Khuda Naqisaan ra pir-e kamil, kaamilaan ra rahnuma” The giver of bounties, the benefactor of the world [and] manifestation of the light of Allah, To the beginners, a perfect spiritual guide, and to the accomplished, a guide. This is why the shaykh is famously known as “Data Ganj Baksh” which means “Bestower of Spiritual Treasures.” The great shaykh was born in Ghazni, Afghanistan. He was a direct descendant of the Prophet ‎ﷺ (Ahlul Bayt). He had such a great thirst for knowledge that he travelled to many countries to learn from the greatest shuyukh of his time. He said that he met no less than 300 scholars in just Iran and learned knowledge from them. After perfecting himself with external knowledge (Shari’ah), the shaykh made it his mission to find a perfect spiritual guide (Murshid) who could guide him to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. He undertook many tough travels to find his guide, Hazrat Abu Fazl bin Hasan Khattali QSA who was a pir-e-kamil (perfect spiritual guide) in the Junaidiya Silsila. He devoted his entire life to the service of his shaykh so much so that his Murshid (spiritual guide) passed ahead while his blessed head was in the lap of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh Hajveri QSA. After his Murshid (spiritual guide) passed ahead, the shaykh travelled to Lahore, Pakistan. His only mission there was to spread Islam and he converted a large amount of people to Islam and accepted their bayah (allegiance). He was a great Islamic scholar and wrote many books. The most famous is “Kashf al-Mahjub,” (Unveiling the Veiled) which is the oldest manual on Sufism in Persian. Some shuyukh have said that for those who don’t have a Murshid (spiritual guide), the book, Kashf al-Mahjub could be their guide if they are sincere. The maqam of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh Hajveri QSA lovingly known as “Data Darbar” continues to attract a large amount of visitors due to its magnetic spiritual force. Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah QSA also visited Data Darbar and is a favorite of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh Hajveri QSA. <image:title>Sayyidina Ali al-Murtada - SAYYIDINA IMAM ALI AL-MURTADA</image:title>
<image:caption>The 21st of Ramadan marks the martyrdom and URS (annual commemoration of passing) of Sayyidina Imam Ali Mushkil Kusha كرم الله وجهه. Imam Ali كرم الله وجهه was born inside the Ka'bah and was the first male to accept Islam. He was also the cousin, son in law and great companion of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. He was also the first person to pray with our Holy Prophet ﷺ. (Musnad Imam Ahmad). The Holy Prophet ﷺ said "I am the City of Knowledge and Ali is its Gate." (Tirmidhi). For this reason, it is well known that the majority of Sufi tariqas (spiritual orders) trace the chain of their spiritual masters back to the Imams of the Ahlul Bayt, ending with Imam Ali كرم الله وجهه as the spiritual authority after our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Imam Ali كرم الله وجهه once said "By Him Who split up the seed and created the soul, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me a promise that none but a believer would love me, and none hates me but a hypocrite." (Sahih Muslim). It is in this great love that the great Sufi saint, Hazrat Khawaja Amir Khusrau (QSA) wrote the famous lines: Ali imaam-e-manasto manam Ghulaam-e-Ali Hazaar jaan-e-giraamii fidaa-e-naam-e-Ali Ali is my leader, I am the slave of Ali A thousand lives be sacrificed in the name of Ali. <image:caption>Hazrat Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al-‘Aas, may Allah be pleased with him, said that a man asked the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, “What in Islam is the best?” He answered, “To feed people and to greet everyone whether you know the person or not.” Sayyidina Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani Ghouse Azam Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu (QSA) (May Allah sanctify his secret) said that “If I were given the treasures of the whole world, I would spent it all on feeding the poor.” Sultan ul-Hind Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA was known for his immense generosity as there was always free distribution of food at his gatherings. The langar (kitchen) at the Darbars of both Sayyidina Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani QSA and Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA are famous to this day as thousands of people are nourished both physically and spiritually. The Sufi mashaykh accepted all people at their gatherings without any discrimination and fed everyone without asking for anything in return. We can see that the Sufi mashaykh are the ones who are truly following the Sunnah (tradition) of Sayyidina Rasulullah ‎ﷺ in both the batini (inward) and zahiri (outward) realms. <image:title>Hazrat Bilal - HAZRAT BILAL</image:title>
<image:caption>After Rasulullah ‎ ﷺ passed ahead, Hazrat Bilal radi allahu anhu was so sad that he decided he could not stay in Madina Sharif any longer. He took all his property and left for Syria. After a year, Rasulullah ‎ ﷺ appeared in his dream and said “Bilal, why did you leave me?” Hazrat Bilal radi allahu anhu woke up and immediately left in the middle of the night back to Madina Sharif. When the people of Madina Sharif saw Hazrat Bilal, they became extremely happy. Everyone asked him to give the Azan many times to hear his beautiful voice, but he refused. He told them that he had already decided that he would not give the Azan again after the passing of Rasululah ‎ ﷺ. Then the two beloved grandsons of Rasulullah ‎ ﷺ, Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain Alayhi salam came to him and asked him to give the Azan. Hazrat Bilal radi allahu anhu looked at their beautiful faces, and he had so much love for them that he could not refuse their request. They held Hazrat Bilal’s hand and took him to the Mimbar in Masjid e Nabawi. When the people of Madina Sharif heard Hazrat Bilal Radi allahu anhu giving the Azan, they all came out crying as it reminded them of Rasulullah ‎ ﷺ. When Hazrat Bilal Radi allahu anhu said “Ash-hadu Anna Muhammad ur Rasulullah,” he could not continue any longer and he did not finish the Azan as the pain was too much. <image:title>Power of Awliya - POWER OF AWLIYA</image:title>
<image:caption>In Surah an-Naml (The Ant), Allah ‎ ﷻ states the events between Prophet Sulayman ‎عليه السلام and the Queen of Sheba.‎ The Queen was coming with 12,000 of her chiefs to see Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام to find out what he wanted from her. It is said that there were many thousand soldiers with each chief. When the Queen was 5 miles away, Prophet Sulayman ‎عليه السلام knew she was coming to see him. He wanted to show the power of his army, so that Queen Sheba would avoid going to war with him. He knew that Queen Sheba had a mighty throne made of gold, silver and all types of jewels. It was inside her castle behind seven guarded and locked doors. So Prophet Sulayman ‎عليه السلام asked his army who could bring her throne to him. A very strong jinn said that he could bring it before Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام got up from his seat, as Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام used to sit for judgement from early morning to midday and then he would get up. But Prophet Sulayman ‎عليه السلام knew his army, so he said that he wanted it even faster that that. Then a man named Hazrat Asif Ibn Barkhiyya said that he would bring it immediately. He asked Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام to look up to the sky and when Prophet Sulayman ‎عليه السلام looked back, the throne of Sheba was in front of him. So who was Hazrat Asif Ibn Barkhiyya? He was not a prophet, but he was a wali from the Ummah of Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام So we should all ask ourselves that if this is the spiritual power of Hazrat Asif Ibn Barkhiyya, then we can only imagine the spiritual power of a wali from the Ummah of Sayyiduna Rasūlullāh ﷺ . O’Allah we pray that you keep us in the company of the Awliya Allah in this world and the hereafter. <image:caption>Our beloved grand shaykh, (Sultan ul Awliya) Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Hasan Shah Raḥimahullāh would sometimes travel over 100 miles to visit just one mureed. He did not fear traveling alone at night nor anyone or anything in this world. He would visit each mureed’s home separately where he would give his time and attention in order to teach the mureed (disciple) about Islam, humanity and zikr (meditation). He would then go to the next mureed’s home and do the same, until he had established many different gatherings of zikr and worship all over India. He said that his life’s purpose was to serve the Ummah of Sayyiduna Rasūlullāh ﷺ. He was such a big Shaykh (spiritual guide) with many extremely wealthy mureeds. But he never asked anyone for any money, food, clothing or gifts. He lived a very simple life such that when he passed ahead, he had only 39 rupees in his pocket. It is no coincidence that (Sultan ul Awliya)Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Hasan Shah Raḥimahullāh produced some of the biggest awliya of recent times. There are still countless people all over the world who are benefiting from his sacrifice, faiz (grace) and tabligh (inviting people to Allah). The mashaykh of Silsila E Aaliya, Khushhaliya have recommended disciples to recite this invocation (dua) 20 times after every obligatory (fardh) prayer as part of Ma’moolathe Shaykh (Prescribed Practises of the Shaykh). There is an authentic Hadith that states that a person who recites this 100 times a day will receive the reward of freeing 10 slaves, 100 good deeds will be written for him, 100 sins wiped away, and he will be protected from Satan (Shaytan) for the rest of the day. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 3293 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2691) Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya (Qaddas Allahu Sirrhu) said that he once saw his shaykh, Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar QSA in a dream in which he asked him to recite this same invocation (dua) daily 100 times. Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya QSA then saw that this invocation (dua) was written in the books of mashaykh that one who recited it 100 times a day, would be happy and live a happy life without any means, apparent and manifest. Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya QSA realized that this was exactly what his shaykh had wished for him. (Ref: Fawa’id al-Fu’ad, pg. 214) Silsila Aaliya e Khushhaliya !</image:caption>

<image:title>Shaykh Ameer Abul Ula - SHAYKH AMEER ABUL ULA QSA</image:title>
<image:caption>The Naqshbandi Silsila is one of the most popular Sufi orders of the world and it is widespread in India by the efforts and influence of two great shuyukh. One chain is linked with Shaykh Ahmad Sirhind Mujaddid Alf Thaani QSA. The other is with Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA known as Naqshbandi Abul Ulai, which is one of the largest Sufi orders in the Indian subcontinent. Shaykh Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA was born near Delhi, India in 990 AH. He was a direct descendant of the Prophet ‎ﷺ (Ahlul Bayt). He was appointed as a governor by Emperor Akbar, but he left this post after he saw a dream where Hazrat Imam Ali, Hazrat Imam Hussain and Hazrat Imam Hasan Radhy Allahu Anhum ordered him to walk the spiritual path (Darweshi). He had taken bayyat with his uncle, Hazrat Ameer Abdullah QSA in the Naqshbandi Silsila. Hazrat Shah Jahangir (II) Fakhrul Arefin Mawlana Abdul Hai (QSA) relates in Seerat Fakhrul Arefin that there was once a time when Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA became very worrisome and anxious. For this reason, he went to Ajmer Sharif, India and presented himself in the Darbar Sharif of Sultanul Hind Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti Gharib Nawaz QSA. Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA kindly requested to Hazrat Khawja Moinuddin Chisti QSA that my grandfather, Sayyidina Rasulullah ‎ﷺ had chosen you and given you extraordinary spiritual gifts, can you please give me something too? After some time when nothing had happened, Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA left the Darbar Sharif. While he was still on his journey back home, his soul suddenly got knowledge (ilm) that he was being called back. He then returned back to the Darbar Sharif and presented himself again, and then the spectacular ziyarat (visit) took place where Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA himself told Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA that Sayyidina Rasulullah ‎ﷺ had given him something very precious (amanat) to give to him, so Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA himself had been waiting for him. Then Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA gave Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA great spiritual attention (tawajju) and spiritually gave him something which looked like the size of an egg and shined like diamonds. Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti QSA then told Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA that since you have received the spiritual gift, you have to take bayyat with me too so Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA was initiated into Silsila Aaaliya Chistiya also. After Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA left Ajmer Sharif, his Silsila became known as “Majma-Ul Bahrain” (Joining of the Two Seas). Hazrat Mawlana Abdul Hai Shah Jahangiri (II) explains that it is for this reason that this Silsila has more spiritual force and excitement because it is Majma-Ul Bahrain. Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA spent his entire life in service of Islam and humanity, and passed ahead on 9 Safar, 1061 Hijri. His resting place is in Agra, India. Silsila e Aaliya Khushhaliya is connected to Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA through Hazrat Makhdum Shah Muneem Pakbaz QSA who practiced the spiritual teachings of Naqshbandi Abul-Ulaiya for 10 years under the guidance of Khawaja Shah Muhammad Farhad QSA, who was the khaas (special) Khalifa of Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA. <image:caption>In the book Seerat-e Fakhrul Arifeen published in 1934, the following story is related by a disciple (mureed) of Hazrat Shah Jahangir (II) Fakhrul Arefin Abdul Hai Raḥimahullāh : I was once traveling through a jungle with bags of rice during a time when food was scarce. This jungle was not used for travel but I had passed thorough it safely before so I thought that nothing would happen to me. Suddenly, I saw two terrifying armed burglars (dacoits) in front of me. One of them was holding a machete and the other had a stick. I was completely alone with them in the middle of the jungle. I heard one of them say to the other that if I tried to fight back, they would murder me in the jungle. I was extremely scared for my life and desperate for any help. After losing all hope, I remembered my shaykh as the last resort, and promised that if Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la saved me from this danger, I would be in service of my shaykh. I then felt some hope in my heart that I would be helped. I saw the two burglars looking confused for some time. Then they both suddenly ran towards me and fell at my feet. They began asking me for forgiveness because they believed I was a magician. They told me that when they thought of murdering me, I would suddenly disappear. But when they decided against it, they would see light in their eyes. I told them to leave and we went our separate ways. I thanked Allah with all my heart for saving my life and my property. When I reached my destination, I bought some food items and then went to visit my shaykh. As soon as he saw me, my shaykh said “Did you really get scared? Know that whoever tries to harm you, will be destroyed! Don’t despair!” O’Lord give our heart life and nourishment, for the sake fo Mawlana Abdul Hai Dilko hamare ya Khuda de zindagi tur taazgi, Shah Muhammad Abdul Hai Maqbool Ud Duwa ke vasthe. <image:caption>Shaykh Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar QSA often used to say, “With time, my Sabir’s jalaal (majesty) will turn into jamaal (beauty).” In the book, Tadhkira Anwar-i-Sabiri, Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali explains an incident after he left the Darbar Sharif of Hazrat Makhdoom Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Pak Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu “QSA” (May Allah sanctify his secret). He said that he once visited the Darbar Sharif on Eid, and remained there the entire day. He forgot to eat that day, so he suddenly felt very hungry when he left the Darbar Sharif at 11:00 p.m. at night. He walked along the thick forest at night time, and was desperate for food but all the kitchens were closed. As he approached the bridge, he heard a voice that said “Oh young man, come along, I will feed you with rice.” He was very scared, but he walked towards the bridge and saw two young men dressed in nice clothes. They were sitting on the bridge with a pan full of rice. Abu Anees began wondering who these young men were and why they were standing in the night time near the jungle. He went near them and asked “Why do you sit here?” The two young men replied “O’ brother, you are hungry. Have rice and take your way.” Abu Anees said that he had never eaten such delicious rice before in his life. Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal QSA had a special attachment since his early spiritual seclusions to Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA. The resemblance in Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal’s QSA meditations and spiritual inclination towards Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA are well known. He was a known favorite of Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA. Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal QSA used to walk sometimes to the Darbar Sharif of Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA at the instruction of his murshid (spiritual guide), Hazrat Mohammad Hasan Shah QSA and spend most of the day there. It is said that the students of tareeqat (spiritual path) obtained their certificates and went to the Darbar Sharif of Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA in Kalyar Sharif for their confirmations. We can only imagine the spiritual gifts and mysteries given to Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal QSA from Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA. When we were stopped, we saw a small bird with two of her chicks. We went and picked up the two chicks, and saw that the mother bird started flapping her wings in extreme anxiety. Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ saw this and immediately asked “Who has troubled this bird and made her worry? Give them back to her!” Another time Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ saw a bee hive that was burned, so he asked “Who burned this? <image:caption>Shaykh Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah (QSA) also had great love and respect for our shuyukh in Bangladesh. Ya Allah, Hum Sab Ko Apnae Bargah-e-hidayat Mai kar qabool Hazrat E Mukhlisur Rahman Jahangiri e huda ke wastey.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Recognize a Wali (Saint) - HOW TO RECOGNIZE A WALI (SAINT)</image:title>
<image:caption>Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu “QSA” (May Allah sanctify his secret) related this story to his disciples to explain the signs of a wali (saint). A man who wanted to see miracles (karamat) went to Imam Junaid Baghdadi QSA, and requested to be his servant. The Imam agreed and the man served him for many years, but did not see any miracles (karamat). When it was time for the man to go back to his town, he told Imam Junaid Baghdadi QSA that he was very sad because he had served for all these years with the intention of witnessing a miracle (karamat), but he did not see anything. Imam Junaid Baghdadi QSA asked the man if he had ever seen him do any action against the Sunnah or Shari’ah in all the years that he served him. The man said that he did not. Imam Junaid Baghdadi QSA told him that this was the real miracle. Imam Junaid Baghdadi QSA explained to the man that if it was a miracle (karamat) to walk on water, then the fish will have more accomplishment (kamaal) as they swim on water. Similarly, if it was a miracle (karamat) to fly in air, then the birds will have more accomplishment (kamaal). The real miracle (karamat) is when a person has made his state to be in complete obedience to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la and has dedicated his life to the service of Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ. Everything else is fraud and useless. Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal QSA would add that if a person wants to see miracles (karamat), he should go to a magician. He explained that a miracle (karamat) can only be done with the will of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la. He advised that a person should instead, look to see how much God consciousness (Taqwa) and how much love of Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ that is in a person, as these are some of the real signs of a wali (saint). O’Lord for the sake of Shaykh Rahimuddin and Shaykh Abu Bakr Shibli, Bestow your grace on me for the sake of our master, Imam Junaid Baghdadi Shah Rahimuddin O Shah Abu Bakr O Shibli Ka Tufail, Fazal Kar Hazrat Junaid E Peshwa Ke Wasthey O’Lord strengthen me with patience and perseverance, and never let my hands slip from my connection to Hazrat Khushhal QSA Sabr o Istiqlal Se Hum Sab Ko Thu Mazbooth Rakh, Ya Ilahi Haath Se Choote Na Damaan E Khushhal Silsila-e-Aaliya, Khushhaliya ! <image:title>Shaykh Abdul Hai - SHAYKH ABDUL HAI FAKHRUL ARIFIN</image:title>
<image:caption>The great Sufi sage, Shaykh Mawlana Abdul Hai Fakhrul Arifin (Q.S.A). We trace our spiritual lineage to him through our Shaykh Sufi Mawlana Mohammad Khushhaal (Q.S.A). Our shaykh was a disciple (mureed) of Hazrat Sufi Mohammad Hasan Shah (Q.S.A) whose shaykh was Hazrat Sufi Mohammad Inayath Hasan Shah (Q.S.A). His brother and shaykh was, Hazrat Sufi Mohammad Nabi Raza Shah (Q.S.A) who was a disciple of the great, Hazrat Mawlana Abdul Hai Fakhrul Arifin (Q.S.A). Hazrat Shah Jahangir Fakhrul Arifin (Q.S.A) was born on May 6, 1860 (14 Shawwal 1276). He was tutored in both the outward and inward sciences early by his shaykh and father, Hazrat Mukhlisur Rahman Jahangiri (Q.S.A). He then enrolled in intensive Islamic studies in his teenage years in Calcutta and later in Lucknow. He studied so intensely that he sometimes did not come home to Chatgam (Chittagong), Bangladesh for 7 years. He spent about 14 years studying and then became one of the top scholars of his time. Mawlana Abdul Hai (Q.S.A) at the age of 45 years old succeeded as the Khalifa (Sajjada Nasheen) after about 19 years of the demise of his shaykh and father, Hazrat Mukhlisur Rahman Jahangiri (Q.S.A). He composed about 117 works in both Arabic and Persian. He undertook many spiritual seclusions and was gifted the God given title, “Fakhrul Arifin.” He was a perfect (kamil) shaykh and his miracles (karmat) were unlimited, which he ordered to be kept hidden during his lifetime. He passed ahead at the age of 63 on 17th of Dhul Hijjah and his sacred tomb is in the world famous Darbar Mirzakhil Sharif in Chittagong, Bangladesh. O’Lord give our heart life and nourishment, for the sake of Mawlana Abdul Hai (Q.S.A)</image:caption>

<image:caption>Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Raḥimahullāh was totally dependent on his pir (spiritual guide) Hazrat Baba Fariuddin Ganjshakar Raḥimahullāh, but he still maintained a very high level of riyazat (asceticism). They say that when he had passed 80 years of age, he would still fast continuously. At the time of breaking the fast (Iftar), he would eat very little. When food was brought to him in the early morning, he would usually refuse it. His servants would beg him to eat more so that his health did not get worse. But Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Raḥimahullāh would reply “Think about how many poor people and beggars are suffering hunger, huddled around the masjids, and sleeping in the streets of the city - how can this food go down my throat?” After a while, the servants would take the food away. Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Raḥimahullāh maintained a very strict personal lifestyle. He had an intense regimen of night prayers and seclusion, and he would use the daytime to fulfill the needs of others. Ref: Siyar al-Awliya / Sufi Martyrs of Love, pg. 74. <image:title>Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani - SHAYKH ABDUL QADIR JILANI</image:title>
<image:caption>The greatest of Sufi master, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani is a direct descendant of Prophet Mohammad. He is universally acclaimed as the Master of all Masters, and called Pir Dastgir and Ghaus-ul-Azam. There was a woman in Baghdad who was so impressed by the fame of Sayyidina Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (QSA) that she asked the shaykh to train her son to be like him. Sayyidina Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (QSA) accepted the child and began training him in spirituality. After some time, the mother returned and saw that her son was very weak while eating a piece of bread. She went to see Sayyidina Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (QSA) and found him eating a chicken. She became very upset and screamed “you are eating chicken here while my son has nothing to eat but a piece of bread!” At that time, Sayyidina Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (QSA) placed his hand over the chicken bones and prayed “In the name of Allah, Who revives bones from dust, rise!” The chicken immediately became alive and ran around the table saying, “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad ﷺ‎‬ is His Messenger and Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani is the true friend of Allah and His Messenger!” Sayydidina Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (QSA) then turned to the woman and said, “When your son can do this, he can also eat whatever he wishes.” Everyone sees the shaykh when he is complete, but very few see the journey. Shaykh Mohammad Khushaal (QSA) undertook so many spiritual seclusions (chillahs/khalwa) which is impossible for a common man unless he is divinely chosen by Allah ﷻ. He undertook countless spiritual seclusions of 40, 60, 90 and 120 days. He fasted continuously for 17 long years (faqa-kashi) with only the water of lentils (moong ki daal) and black tea. He would spend his day reciting 10,000 salawat and his nights in the rememberance of Allah ﷻ as he slept a maximum of only 30 minutes per day. His sincerity and asceticism (zuhd) could be matched by very few awliya of recent times. He undertook all these struggles only to gain the love of Allah ﷻ. He took all the problems of his disciples (mureeds) and the Muslim Ummah all on himself and solved them without asking for anything in return. He reached great spiritual stations and never went after any publicity or fame. O’Almighty put your attention on all of us, For the sake of the Supreme Helper Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani, the King of the awliya Qadir-e Muthlaq hai thu apni inayath hum sab pe rakh, Ghousul Azam Shah e Jilani Qutbul Awliya ke wastey O’Lord of all the worlds, give us true love for our shaykh, for the sake of all the prophets, awliya and righteous Ishq de Murshid ko hum ko ya Ilahul Alameen, Ambiya, Awliya, Asfiya ke wastey.</image:caption>

      <image:title>On Repentance - ON REPENTANCE ( ISTIGHFAR)</image:title>
<image:caption>A man once came to Al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).” Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?” Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12] There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah. The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains. As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (صلي ألله عليه و سلم).“Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [Al-Anfal (8):33] As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [Al-Anfal (8):33]أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “If anyone continually asks forgiveness, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, relief from anxiety, and will provide for him from where he never realized.” [Abu Dawood, Hadith # 599] Silsila-e-Aaliya, Khushhaliya.!</image:caption>

He would recite “Allahuma Salli ‘ala Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadin wa ‘ala aaali Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadin wa barik wa Sallam.”Before the adhan of Maghrib could be heard, he would have completed 10,000 salawaat. He was a true aashiq-e-Rasul and would present the entire count daily as a gift to Rasulullah (Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam). This was one of his daily practices for over 50 years. One can only imagine the spiritual state of a man who is immersed in the love of Rasullullah (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Salaam).O’Allah please make us people of salawaat and allow us to attain closeness to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam).</image:caption>

His titles were Imam-i-Rabbani (Divinely inspired Leader) and Mujaddid Alf Thani (Reviver of the second Millenium). Allama Iqbal wrote the following in 1934 after visiting the Imam’s maqam (shrine): "Hazir Huwa Main Sheikh-e-Mujadid (R.A.) Ki Lehad Par Woh Khak Ke Hai Zair-e-Falak Matla-e-Anwar Iss Khak Ke Zarron Se Hain Sharminda Sitare Iss Khak Main Poshida Hai Woh Sahib-e-Asrar Gardan Na Jhuki Jis Ki Jahangir Ke Agay Jis Ke Nafs-e-Garam Se Hai Garmi-e-Arhar Woh Hind Mein Sarmaya-e-Millat Ka Negheban Allah Ne Barwaqt Kiya Jis Ko Khabardar." “I visited the shrine of Hazrat Mujaddid Alif Sani, The dust of his shrine is a source of illumination, The particles of this dust are more brilliant than the stars, in this dust lies buried the great saint the knower of secrets Who refused to bow his head before Jahangir He whose burning soul warmed Islam. He who was the Custodian of the Muslim Community in India He whom Allah informed in time of the impending danger to Islam..." The Naqshbandi Silsila is one of the most popular Sufi orders of the world and it is widespread in India by the efforts and influence of two great shuyukh, one of them is Hazrat Syedna Ameer Abul Ula QSA and the other is Shaykh Ahmad Sirhind Mujaddid Alf Thaani QSA. However, Shaykh Ahmad Sirhind QSA was a khalifa in many spiritual orders (tariqas) including Qadiri, Suharwardi, Kubrawi, Qalandari, Chishti, Nizami and Sabiri. His shaykh in the Naqshbandi spiritual path (tariqa) was Shaykh Baqi Billah QSA. Shaykh Ahmad Sirhind QSA was a defender of Ahl us Sunnah Jamah and was a shaykh of the highest calibre in both the outward Islamic sciences (Shari’ah) and the inward Islamic sciences (Sufism). <image:title>Love for Ahlul Bayt - LOVE FOR AHLUL BAYT</image:title>
<image:caption>Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, relates that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him said, “Honor the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, by honoring the members of his family.” (Bukhari) In another narration, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said “Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain, Allah loves anyone who loves al-Hasan and al-Hussain. They are two of my distinguished descendants.” (Al Adab Al-Mufrad 364) During Imam Malik’s life (QSA), he was once whipped by the governor of Madina to the point that he became unconscious. When Imam Malik (QSA) woke up, he testified that he had forgiven the governor. He told the people “I was afraid of dying and meeting the Prophet ﷺ‎‬ with the shameful knowledge that one of his ﷺ‎‬ family members could enter the Fire because of what he did to me.” Shaykh Mohammad Khushaal (QSA) showed respect for all people, but he especially honored the Ulama and the Ahlul Bayt. He would happily refer to himself as the servant of Rasulullah ﷺ‎‬. He knew that honoring the Ahlul Bayt was also honoring Rasulullah ﷺ‎‬. Similar to Imam Malik (QSA), he had so much love and respect for our Prophet ﷺ‎‬, that he would honor anything and anyone connected to our Prophet ﷺ‎‬. <image:title>Shaykh Bahauddin Naqshband - SHAYKH BAHAUDDIN NAQSHBAND QSA</image:title>
<image:caption>The great Sufi saint, Shaykh Muhammad Bahauddin Shah Naqshband Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu “QSA” (May Allah sanctify his secret) is the founder of one of the largest spiritual paths (silsila) in the world, which is the Naqshbandi Silsila. He was born in a village near Bukhara (Uzbekistan) in 717 A.H. At the age of 18 years old, he was already waking up 3 hours before Fajr (dawn prayer) and would pray, “O my Lord, give me the power to carry the difficulties and the pain of Your love.” Hazrat as-Samasi QSA later told him to change this method of supplication (dua), and advised him to pray instead “O God, grant Your pleasure to this weak servant.” The shaykh advised him that although Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala may give His servants some difficulties to test them, He does not like His servants to be in difficulties. However, this practice shows the intense love and determination of Hazrat Shah Naqshband QSA at such an early age. He was already an exceptional Islamic scholar by the age of only 20 years old. Hazrat Bahauddin Shah Naqshband QSA was a rare scholar of both the outward Islamic sciences (Shari’ah) and the inward Islamic sciences (Sufism) such that one of his titles were “Dhu-Janahayn” which is the possessor of two wings. He passed ahead in the month of Rabi al-Awwal, 791 A.H. after a lifetime of significant contribution to Islam and spirituality. He was buried in his garden as he requested. We remember the awliya (saints) because Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala’s mercy comes down on us when we mention them. One of the masters of the Naqshbandi Silsila, Hazrat Sharafuddin Daghestani QSA said, “When the stories of the saints and details of their lives are mentioned, the sins of the listeners will be shattered away as the shattering of glass.” O my Lord, for the sake of all your beloved prophets and saints, please fulfill all my needs and remove my pains. <image:caption>Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radhy Allahu Anhu) related that our Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ said "Do not criticize my Companions, do not criticize my Companions. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if one amongst you would have spent as much gold as (Mountain) Uhud, it would not amount to as much as one much on behalf of one of them or half of it.” (Sahih Muslim 2540) Our great grand shaykh, Hazrat Hasan Dost Farhatullah Shah (Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu) (QSA) advised that a person should never consider a thought nor have any place in their regarding any criticism of any of the Sahaba (Companions) our Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ. The only people who think it is permissible to insult any of the Sahaba (Companions) are those who have no deen (religion). This is because the devil whispers in the hearts of people to have these thoughts in order to destroy their faith (iman) and hereafter (akhirat). <image:caption>Sayyidatina Aisha (Radhy Allahu Anha) is the daughter of Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddiq (Radhy Allahu Anhu), and the beloved wife of the Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ. She was the most knowledgeable of all the women of her time. She was confident and eloquent. She educated the Muslim community for many years, and is known for narrating over 2,000 Ahadith. The Holy Prophet ﷺ had immense love for her and passed ahead in her lap. When Hazrat Amr ibn Al-Aas (Radhy Allahu Anhu) asked the Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ, "Which person is most beloved to you?" The Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ said, “Aisha.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 3462). She was so pious that once the Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ told her that Angel Jibreel (A.S) had greeted her with Salam (the salutation of peace). She replied "Wa Alaihis Salam-u-wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu (Peace be upon him and the mercy of Allah and His blessings." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). Ishq de Mahboob ko hum ko ya Ilahul Alameen, Syeda Masooma Hazrat Fatima (A.S) ke Wastey O’Lord of all the worlds, give us sincere love for your Beloved, for the sake of Sayyidatina Fatima Az-Zahra (A.S) Jum'ah Mubarak from Silsila Aaliya E Khushhaliya !! <image:caption>The 10th of Ramadhan marks the passing ahead of the Mother of Believers, Sayyidatina Khadija (Radhy Allahu Anha). She came from a very respected family of Quraish. She was the first wife of the Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ and continued to be his wife for about 28 blessed years. She was also the first woman to accept Islam. The Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ said, "She believed in me when no one else did; she accepted Islam when people rejected me, and she helped and comforted me when there was no else to lend me a helping hand." (Bukhari). The Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ also said, "The best of women among the people of Paradise are Khadija bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint 'Imran and 'Asiyah bint Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh." (Musnad Ahmed 2896). Sayyidatina Khadija (Radhy Allahu Anha) was so pious that Angel Jibreel (A.S) once came down and told the Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ to convey peace and blessings of Allah to her. Sayyidatina Khadija (Radhy Allahu Anha) heard this and exclaimed "Did Allah Almighty mention my name?" The Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ said, "Yes, Indeed." She replied, "And unto Allah be all the blessings and peace." Mother of believers, Sayyidatina Aisha, may Allah be pleased be with her, reported: I asked "O Messenger of Allah! If I realize Lailatul-ul-Qadr (Night of Power), what should I supplicate in it?" He replied, "You should supplicate Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love forgiveness; so forgive me.)" (At-Tirmidhi). <image:title>Ramadhan - THE NIGHT OF POWER (LAYLATUL QADR)</image:title>
<image:caption>Allah, Mighty and Majestic, states in the Holy Qur'an "The Night of Power is better than a thousand months." (Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 3). Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Power) is one of the most sacred nights of the year. This was the night when the first verses of the Holy Qur'an were revealed to our beloved Prophet ‎ﷺ by Angel Jibril (A.S). This is the night when Allah, Mighty and Majestic, shows even greater mercy on His creation and it is the night in which destinies can be changed. Our beloved Prophet ‎ﷺ advised us to "Look for it in the odd nights of the last nights of the month of Ramadhan." (Al-Bukhari). He ‎ﷺ also advised us that "whoever prays on Laylatul Qadr out of faith and sincerity shall have all their past sins forgiven." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). Mother of believers, Sayyidatina Aisha, may Allah be pleased be with her, related that "During the last 10 days of the month of Ramadhan, the Holy Prophet, Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, used to keep awake the whole night and would call upon the members of his family to do the same and he used to make great efforts and gird himself up (for intensive night long worship)." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). O'Lord of all the worlds, please accept our worship, prayers, and bring peace, safety and well-being to all of humanity for the sake of our spiritual guide, Khawaja Khushhal (QSA) and all our mashaykh up to Ghouse Azam (QSA) and all of the mashaykh from all the spiritual paths (turuq) up to our Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ and all his Companions ‎رضي الله تعالى عنهما and all the Prophets ‎عليهم السلام Ya Mere Allah Jumla Ambiya ke wasthey, Hajathe Barla Meri Kul Awliya ke wasthey O my Lord, for the sake of all your beloved prophets and saints, Please fulfill all my needs and remove my pains Silsila Aaliya e Khushhaliya !!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Shaykh Usman Harooni - SHAYKH USMAN HAROONI</image:title>
<image:caption>Shaykh Usman Harooni was born in 527 A.H. in Haroon, Iran. His shaykh (spiritual guide) was Hazrat Shareef Zandani (QSA) who initiated him into the Chishti Silsila (spiritual order). He spent 30 years in the company of his shaykh (spiritual guide) until he was ordered to guide others to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'la. His greatest Khulafa was Sultan ul-Hind Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti (QSA). They both regularly travelled together to many different countries all over the world to preach a message of peace and submission to God, which is the message of Islam. They also met many holy men and visits the tombs of the great saints during their travel. Their most famous travel was to Makkah, Saudi Arabia in 562 A.H. There Khwaja Usman Haruni (QSA) prayed for the success of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti (QSA). His prayer was answered by a voice declaring "O Usman, We have accepted Moinuddin as one of our beloved devotees." Then Khwaja Usman Haruni (QSA) took Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti (QSA) to Madina Munawwarah and asked him to present himself in front of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. He did so and he heard a response declaring: "Peace be upon you also, O' spiritual leader of all the saints on earth." Upon hearing this, Khawaja Usman Haruni (QSA) informed his greatest disciple, Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti (QSA) that he had reached the stage of perfection. He lived till 90 years of age and passed ahead on the 5th of Shawwal in 617 A.H in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. His URS is celebrated on 6th of Shawwal in Ajmer Sharif, India and all over the world. <image:title>15th Sha'ban - THE NIGHT OF 15th SHA'BAN</image:title>
<image:caption>The night of 15th Sha’ban is one of the greatest nights of the year, which is the night before the 15th day of Sha’ban. Allah ‎ﷻ said: "On that night, every matter of wisdom is ordained." (Al-Dukhan 44:4). The opinion of many commentators of the Holy Qur'an was that this verse was about the night of Mid-Sha'ban. The Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ said, "Allah gazes at His creation on the night of Mid-Sha'ban and then forgives all His slaves except two types of people: those who attribute partners to Allah and those who have hatred for their fellow Muslims." (Ahmad). He ‎ﷺ also said that one of the five nights on which prayer is not rejected is the night of Mid Sha’ban. (Imam al-Suyuti). There are many more Ahadith about the importance of this special night. The Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ advised that we should spend this night in prayer, and fast the following day. He ‎ﷺ said that Allah will call out from sunset to dawn: "Is there anyone seeking forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him? Is there anyone seeking provision from Me so I may provide for him? Is there anyone suffering so I may relieve his suffering." (Ibn Majah). For this reason, Sayyidina Ali (Radhy Allahu Anhu) would spend this entire night in worship, which was followed by the early Muslims, saints (awliya) and pious scholars. We encourage everyone to increase their worship, prayers and remember the Ummah and all of humanity on this special night. O my Lord, for the sake of all your beloved prophets and saints, Please fulfill all my needs and remove my pains Ya Mere Allah Jumla Ambiya ke wasthey, Haajathe Barla Meri Kul Awliya ke wasthey Silsila Aaliya e Khushhaliya !!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Benefits of Hunger - BENEFITS OF HUNGER</image:title>
<image:caption>The first benefit of hunger is the purification of the heart. The Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ said “when a man causes his belly to hunger, he causes his mind to think powerfully and his heart to grow in wisdom.” The second benefit is hunger softens the heart. Shaykh Said Abu Sulayman (QSA) said “when the heart is hungry and thirsty, it becomes clear and soft, whereas when it is full, it becomes blind and rough.” The third benefit is that the soul realizes its helplessness, which causes it to have complete trust in its Lord. For this reason, when the world and all its treasures were offered to our Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ, he said “No! Instead, I shall be hungry on alternate days, so that when I am hungry, I have patient endurance, and I when I eat my fill, I have gratitude.” The fourth benefit is that one never forgets those who are afflicted by trials. To remember those who are hungry and needy will create kindness, and cause the heart to move towards feeding the hungry, and charity towards God’s creatures. The fifth and greatest benefit is the breaking of all of one’s desires for sin and in achieving mastery over the soul, which commands evil. Just as you cannot master a stubborn riding beast without weakening it through hunger, for when it eats its fill, it becomes strong, stubborn and rebellious, so it is the same with the soul. <image:title>Respect for Quran - RESPECT FOR THE HOLY QU’RAN</image:title>
<image:caption>Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal (Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu) (QSA) (May Allah sanctify his secret) was not only a Murshid (spiritual guide) of the highest degree, but he was also an Alim (Islamic scholar) of the highest degree. As a student, he was known to beautifully recite the Holy Qur’an. His teachers would be amazed, and people would cry after hearing his recitation. While he was learning the recitation of the Holy Qur'an in his village at an early age, his Qur'an teacher had spiritual insight (kashf) and foresaw that the Khawaja would reach the heights of spirituality. His Qur'an teacher said "My son, a time will come in your life, when you will achieve something great. Don't forget to pray for me." The Khawaja would later in his life, relate this event to his disciples (mureeds) with tears in his eyes. He never forgot his teacher as he always prayed for him, and sent rewards to his teacher's soul after his teacher passed ahead (Esal E Sawab). As a Murshid (spiritual guide), he would often correct his disciples (mureeds) when there were mistakes in their recitation of the Holy Qur’an. He greatly disliked disrespecting the Qur’an or any book which contained verses of the Qur’an. He even respected alphabets because they constitute knowledge. Although, the Khawaja was not a Hafiz-ul Qur’an, he was able to correct any reciter (Qari) because of his familiarity with the Holy Qur’an. This was because in his younger days, in addition to his mujahidas (spiritual struggles), one of his regular acts of worship were to begin the recitation of the Qur'an at Fajr (dawn) and finish the entire Qur'an by Isha (night). The Khawaja was once walking with his disciples (mureeds) in Madina, Saudi Arabia when he noticed that a page of the Holy Qur’an was on the ground. He immediately picked up the page and kissed it. One of the local men suddenly came and rudely said in Arabic that this was a Bid’ah (innovation) and this should not be done. The Khawaja calmly told him in Arabic that this is what would have been done during the time of the Holy Prophet ‎ﷺ, and he should know that we are still in the time of the Prophet ﷺ. The local man was astonished by such an answer that he quickly left as he had no reply. Sabr o Istiqlal Se Hamare Dil Ko Mazbooth Rakh, Ya Ilahi Haath Se Choote Na Damaan E Khushhal O’ my Lord, strengthen my heart with patience and perseverance, And never let my hands slip from my connection to Khawaja Khushhal Silsila - E - Aaliya Khushhaliya !!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Once a disciple (mureed) of Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya (Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu) (QSA) asked about the wisdom behind the holy saints keeping their spiritual secrets hidden from others. The Khawaja explained "If they reveal their secrets, they think that they might be considered unworthy of being a confidant. That is, revealing the secrets means disappointment and deprivation. Because when one reveals one's secrets to another person, and discloses them to others, the one who had revealed his secrets first would never tell the secrets to him again." <image:caption>He was only 9 years old when his father passed ahead. He later took the oath of allegiance (bayyah) with the great Sufi saint, Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya (QSA) when he was 43 years old. He remained in service of his Murshid (spiritual guide) for sometime and then went back to his mother. When Hazrat Khawaja Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi's (QSA) followers began to disturb his prayer and spiritual exercise, he requested permission to go to the jungle to pray in peace. But Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya (QSA) ordered him to be. among the people and explained: "Different people are suitable for different jobs. I ask one person to keep his lips tight and door closed, while I ask another person to add to the number of his disciples. I ask someone to be in the company of the creatures of Allah and to undergo their hardships, but to treat them politely. This is the station of the Prophets and the Friends of Allah." Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya (QSA) declared Hazrat Khawaja Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi (QSA) as his successor before he passed ahead. He conferred on him all the robes, staffs, and shoes he had received from various saints and asked him to endure hardship with patience and forbearance. Hazrat Khawaja Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi (QSA) was given the title "Chiragh Dehlavi" which means the Lamp of Delhi because he kept reviving the rites and manners of the saints (awliya). He mostly talked about the Qur'an and Hadith in his gatherings. It was well known that people from all over India and outside came to him in search of religious and spiritual education. <image:title>Shaykh Farhatullah Shah - SHAYKH FARHATULLAH SHAH</image:title>
<image:caption>Shaykh Farhatullah Shah (Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu) (QSA) was born in Kareem Chak, Chapra, Bihar, India in 1168 A.H. He learned the different Islamic sciences and medicine such that he was almost an Alim (Islamic scholar) at a young age. He was also the son of a great hakeem (doctor of natural medicine) who was also a shaykh (spiritual guide). He grew up in the time of the great Sufi saint, Hazrat Munim Pakbaz (QSA) and he longed to meet him. He once went to Patna, Bihar, India to visit his uncle at his pharmacy shop, where he learned that Hazrat Munim Pakbaz (QSA) was also in the city. He immediately went to the Khanqah (place of worship) and presented himself. He was very learned, but when he came in front of Hazrat Munim Pakbaz (QSA), he felt he had no knowledge. Hazrat Munim Pakbaz (QSA) gave spiritual attention (nazr) to Hazrat Farhatullah Shah (QSA) and told him to go to his Khalifa, Hazrat Shah Hasan Ali (QSA). Hazrat Hasan Ali Shah (QSA) and Hazrat Farhatullah Shah (QSA) had great love for each other, which is displayed in the letters they wrote to each other. Hazrat Hasan Ali Shah (QSA) had so much love and respect for his disciple (mureed), that he would consider Hazrat Farhatullah Shah (QSA) his friend and lovingly called him “Hasan Dost.” For this reason, Hazrat Farhatullah Shah (QSA) is famously known as Hazrat Hasan Dost Farhatullah Shah (QSA). Hazrat Farhatullah Shah (QSA) became so spiritually powerful that everything he said, came to happen and he cured many people. He passed ahead on 9 Sha'ban 1226 A.H. His resting place is in Mohallah Kareem Chak, Chapra, Bihar, India. He was succeeded by his son, Hazrat Hakeem Mazhar Hussain Shah (QSA) who was also a great saint (wali) of his time. <image:caption>The 15th of Ramadhan marks the Mawlid of Sayyidina Imam Hasan Ibn Ali عليه السلام. He was the senior grandson of our Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Imam Hasan عليه السلام was known to have closely resembled the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Hazrat `Uqba bin Al-Harith (Radhy Allahu Anhu) narrated: “(Once) Abu Bakr offered the `Asr prayer and then went out walking and saw Al-Hasan playing with the boys. He lifted him onto his shoulders and said, Let my parents be sacrificed for your sake! (You) resemble the Prophet and not `Ali, while `Ali was smiling.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari 3542). In another narration, Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radhy Allahu Anhu) reported: “The Prophet ﷺ said to Hasan ibn Ali, “O Allah, I love him, so love him and whoever loves him.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari 2016).
